Jen Hoye
I'm a strategic communications leader with over twenty years of experience across nonprofit, healthcare, and tech sectors. I’ve built teams, led rebrands, and developed campaigns that drive visibility, engagement, and results. In my most recent role, I lead donor-facing storytelling and philanthropic marketing at Brown University Health, focusing on pediatric and behavioral health.
After losing my brother Teddy to suicide in 2017, I became a passionate mental health advocate. I founded Healing Miles, served as Board Chair for the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and was recently honored by Girls Inc. for my advocacy. Through endurance events—including the Boston and Chicago Marathons—I’ve raised over $100,000 for mental health awareness and peer-to-peer fundraising efforts.
I’m the author of Thick Thighs, Tattoos & Breaking Taboos: How I Lost My Brother and Found Myself Again Through Running and Advocacy, a book about grief, mental health, and healing after suicide loss (launching July 2025).
Let’s connect.
